Grasp the Color Coordination Concept with Analogous Color Chart
Analogous colors are any three colors sitting side by side on a color chart or color wheel, such as orange-yellow, orange and red-orange. As you can see here, one of the three colors usually predominates.

Looking at our grosgrain ribbon chart, here are some examples how we can pair them up.
When light colors are paired with dull colors, the combination gives a spring feel.
| Oatmeal | Wheat | Celadon |
| Misty Mauve | Mauve | Hot Pink |
| Millennium Blue | Wisteria | Lavender |
Dull colors combined with dark colors are fantastic color coordination for an autumn style or winter somber.
| Misty Mauve | Maroon | Cranberry |
| Brown | Lemonade | Olive |
| Forest Green | Wisteria | Blueberry |
Vivid hues combined with light colors are vibrant with a summer touch.
| Yellow Gold | Yellow | Celadon |
| Lime | Turquiose | Aqua |
| Blue | Orchid | Rose Pink |
Avoid working with three vivid hues because they will overwhelm each other and give a confusing illusion.
| Orange | Yellow | Apple Green |
Instead separate two vivid hues with one light color. The light color should work to become an accent against the two vivid colors.
| Orange | Cream | Apple Green |
Gosh! Let's move on for more harmonic color charts and color coordination concepts. We can always make stylish ribbon wears that sell!
