Decorating Christmas Tree with Diagonal Wrap

One of the favorite style of decorating Christmas tree is wraparound ribboning that spiral diagonally down and around as seen in this picture here. It gives more of a sweeping feel to your tree, and if you add bows, it mimics the look of a ball gown.
Well, if that doesn't impress you, we can always add more details to it, after all Christmas is meant to fill with fairy tales.
You can do this in either a single ribbon or two. Whenever you use two ribbons, make sure that they are the same width and that the materials are of similar weight. Then choose any matching colors, patterns, or textures.

To begin with, fold the end over to make a loop, make accordion fold and secure it with a wire tie as seen in picture. If you're using two ribbons, stack them together and do it.
Attach the loop near the treetop by bending a green over it.
Keep spiraling down and around the tree, make a puffy loop each time and anchor it. The loops may very gradually increase in size as you progress down and around the tree, but be sure they always looked puffy.
If you're using two ribbons, spread the ribbon apart after attaching them on the tree. Make them curve out till you see space between them. Alternate the top and bottom ribbon pattern as you spread to make it look interesting.
To finish off, trim the ribbon ends in v-shape and seal them up. Your tree is then ready to be decorated with ornaments.
