The Almost Perfect Gift Box
All of us can do it! Here's how we can begin decoration gift boxes.
Estimate you ribbon - wrap it around the box and add an extra meter for the the ribbon tails.
Now, wrap ribbon around the box and make an easy knot. Adjust ribbon so that both ends are of equal length.
Pictures on the right would give a clear idea of how it would look like at the top and bottom of the box.
Before moving on to the next step, think about the position of the bow you are making. Keep thinking about the position... pull the ends from the easy knot to the position where it is at the right angle (90 degree) of the bow. Get it?
In the example here, I want the bow to sit on the wider side of the box. So I pull the tails real tight at the shorter side of box.
Holding on to their 90 degree position, make a single loop on each end, hold them together and make another easy knot. Tighten the center and shape it a little... This is it!
To make it even better, a flower brooch attached to the bow center would do the trick!
