Get to Know Girls Underwear
Just think about the time when…
We were worried how others think of the boring girls underwear that we wore.
We teased, we giggled, and we have fun with these little clothing as we grew up.
These very basic tiny under wears could be complicated. Shopping for them is even more stressful, if you don’t know them!
Here are some hints on sizing, fabrics, styles and fitting to make you be your girls underwear experts, while adding some fun to your girls’ wardrobe.

Everyday Panties
Stock up enough for new change everyday, taking into consideration the time they were tugged inside the laundry basket, washer and dryer.
Consider these fun girls underwear with everyday of the week printed on them, a great way to remind girls to be hygienic, beginning from young.
The material: Look for cotton panties, or those with added spandex.
Cotton is good absorbent material that helps to keep our skin dry and comfortable, while spandex is something soft and stretchy added to enhance the comfort of cotton. Read the label, it will tell you what you’re buying.
Also, look out for the quality and comfortable waists band too. This feature will enhance the durability of panties while you enjoy them.
Panty size: The simple rule is go by the age. You should never be far from wrong.
To be precise, note down two important measurements - the waist and the hip before shopping for girls underwear.
Waist measurement is the perimeter around the natural indentation or break in your waist. If you need help locating this indentation, bend to the side; the crease will be the location of your waist.
Hip measurement is the perimeter around the fullest part of your hips.
With these two measurements in hand, compare against the chart below to determine the proper size you need. If your measurements represent two different panty sizes, choose the larger of the two sizes.
| Waist | Hip | Numeric Size | Girls Size |
| 19 inches | 22 inches | 4 | XS |
| 20 inches | 23.5 inches | 5 | XS |
| 20.5 inches | 24.5 inches | 6 | S |
| 21 inches | 25.5 inches | 7 | S |
| 21.5 inches | 26.5 inches | 8 | M |
| 22 inches | 28 inches | 10 | L |
| 23 inches | 29.5 inches | 12 | XL |
Basic brief, hipster or bikini? This tells you where this girls underwear is going to sit on her waist.
The basic brief sits slightly above the naval. The hipster usually stays around the hip line below the naval. Bikini means it go way below the hip line!
Getting the Perfect Fit girls underwear
The first principle is we have to wear it correctly, identifying the front and back. The basic girl’s rule, pictures and ribbon bows always stay in front and she have to wear it that way.
A panty should fit naturally against her body comfortably, with no visible excessive fabric around the hip nor do binding grooves appear around the waist and thighs. You should observe that the proper fit around the buttocks is balanced, symmetrical, covered and cupped.
My best pick!
With the right size in mind, my choice is cotton hipster. Besides being comfortable, hipster always able to be tug properly under jeans and skirts waist seam.
Girls Camisoles
In short, they are known as cami. From the look, I’d describe them as spaghetti straps Ts. Girls can wear it as undershirts or as alternatives to their Ts, whichever way they love.
If your girl is chubby, they will look cute fitted in those made of stretchy cotton-spandex. On the other hand, if she is slim and skinny, just go for the 100% cotton relax style.
Girls First Bra
Girls may need first bra as young as age 10. They may be just curious to have one, or they may not feel like wearing it even though they suppose to… At this stage, just take their lead as they wish.
For girls, getting the first bra is real big deal! Their mind set is usually not ready to accept an adult bra. Consider these training bras where we can bridge them over this hurdle.
Girl camisoles with shelf bra With a shelf bra sewn right in, girls actually look and feel more like wearing a T-shirts. They don’t need to wear a separate bra beneath this camisole for sleek support and shaping. Plus, they won't have to fuss with "peek-a-boo" bra straps!
Sport bra. This is also a style where girls will accept at starting point. Stylish tank look while getting the necessary support. There are sport bras that come with wire. Girls do not need it at this point as it will cause discomfort to some extend.
Bra Size and Fitting. Girls should be given the privilege to learn how to get the right bra for herself right from the start. I wish I had known Tomima Edmark when I was 10.
Anyway, late is always better than never.
