What makes great kids hair accessories?
Probably you’re using one now. No-slip hair clips are outstanding kids hair accessories, because they don’t easily slip off kids hair.
So, what is in a no-slip hair clip?
We use anti-slip material in lining the clip. There are a few options… You can conceal a thin strip of magnet between the clip, insert an anti slip cupboard lining, etc. etc., as long as the material you use does serve some kind of anti-slip purpose.
Velvet ribbon is my best choice. It’s always comfortable and elegant.
How to line a NO-SLIP hair clips?
You can either line the clip completely with velvet ribbon, or with just a small tiny strip on the inner side on the clip, as demonstrated here:

Get ready the things you need… |
To begin with, pinch open the clip and dab a little glue at the tip. Then immediately glue about 15mm (1/2 inches) length of ribbon neatly on clip and release your hold.

Flip the clip over, glue and finish off lining the clip with the same ribbon.
To make the no-slip hair clip, shoot the hot glue along the inner clip and neatly secure the short velvet ribbon strip.
