What can you do with Ribbon Primrose Flower?
A four petals ribbon primrose flower, I used it in ribbon bouquets for many decorating party favors.
When you make this flower with broad ribbon and extended tails, it become the well loved pinwheel hair bow. It looks good too on gift box center.

Things you need to make this surround ribbon bow:
- Ribbon, how much?
- Needle and thread,
- An alligator hair clip (in case you need to hold your ribbon), and
- Scissors,
Mark A-E accordingly. Once you get the whole picture, you can just do without the markings.
With the markings facing you, loop and place point A on B. |
Make bottom right loop and place point C on point A. |
Make top left loop and place point D on point C. |
Last top right loop, and place point E on point D. Hold the center properly, adjust the loops a little to make them look even, then make 2 stitches to hold them together. |
Fastening the center
Make a 360 degree loop with your thread around the bow center - Start from the back of bow, make a round and poke your needle from the back of bow, then pull the thread out in front. |
Hold your bow center and make your 3-4 accordion folds. Tighten the string. Your flower should look similar to the picture here. Make 1-2 more rounds and finished off. |
