Things you need to seal ribbon ends:
- Your ribbon; and
- candle and lighter or matches.

Have your ribbon ends trimmed to V-shape. In order to achieve an even v-tail, the easier way is to fold your ribbon into half and trim both sides together.

Fold your ribbon into half and seal the bottom layer of ribbon first. |

Flip over your ribbon and seal the other half of the V- shape. |

These are what you will be getting... sealed V-shape ends on grosgrain and velvet ribbon.
